Greg Hollingsworth, MAOM, L.Ac.

Owner, Acupuncturist

I was a pre-med major in college at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma. The demands of life took me away from that career, but I never got away from my love of health and healing. Years later, I was in a serious accident that caused a spinal cord injury. After being in a wheelchair for several years, a doctor recommended acupuncture. The Lord miraculously healed me using acupuncture and Chinese herbs. That very week I enrolled at the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine. My wife and I had always wanted to settle down in Springfield, so after my graduation we moved to Missouri and opened AcuPoint Health Clinic.

I have worked in many different roles in the past, including police officer, salesman, and foster parent. At AcuPoint, I use a variety of methods of treatment, including acupuncture, herbs, supplements, guasha, shiatsu, cupping, moxabustion, and nutritional counseling. I specialize in the treatment of serious illnesses, especially those of patients for whom doctors have given up hope.

No physician can ever say that any disease is incurable. To say so blasphemes God, blasphemes nature, and depreciates the great architect of Creation. The disease does not exist, no matter how terrible it might be, for which God has not provided the corresponding cure.”

Carolyn has a long standing interest in natural medicine and nutrition. The information and experience she has acquired over the years has enabled her to benefit both her family and her patients. Carolyn is able to offer expertise in standard medical care in addition to natural medicine alternatives. At AcuPoint Carolyn practices as a Holistic Family Nurse Practitioner. Her specialized training in Woman’s issues and Pediatrics contributes to fulfilling her calling to help woman and children reach their highest level of health and development. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner Carolyn worked for over two decades as a child, adult, and family counselor. She often worked in difficult situations helping abused and medically needy children. She has a passion for supporting healing from emotional trauma and psychological challenges.

Carolyn’s family keeps her busy. She is a wife, a mother 6 natural and adopted children, and a grandmother to 12. Currently her household consists of herself, her husband, and 5 children/grandchildren, ages 9-19. Enjoyment comes from family camping, hiking, playing games, crafts, and interesting dinner conversations.

Vickie Hollingsworth

Thermography Technician & Nutritional Consultant

I was born and raised in Tennessee. After graduating from Bethany Nazarene College I married Greg. Since then, we have lived in Oklahoma, Oregon, Colorado, Arkansas, northern Missouri, and California. We are happy to have finally settled down in southern Missouri.

God has guided me to some very interesting jobs over the years, from teaching school to owning a store, from driving an ice cream truck to being a property manager for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Each job seemed to prepare me a little more to take on the role I have at AcuPoint.
